FAQs

We believe in enhancing customer awareness towards jewellery and specifically our products. So, Here's a sneak peak into our knowledge base of FAQ's:

1. What type of metal is used in your jewellery?

Answer: Our jewellery is made with 92.5 silver also called sterling silver.

2. What is 92.5 silver?

Answer: 92.5 silver is the best form of silver used to make jewellery. It's an alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. It is stronger than pure silver, making it better suited for intricate jewellery designs. Just like 91.6 in Gold.

3. Is your jewellery hallmarked?

Answer: Yes, all our jewellery is hallmarked 92.5.

4. Why are most pieces blackish?

Answer: Most silver jewellery is blackish in color because it has been oxidized on purpose. The designs are more beautiful and detailed when the silver is oxidized or gold-plated, so that's why the process is done.

5. Will the jewellery turn black over time?

Answer: All our jewellery is already oxidized, so it will not get even darker. So please do not try any polishing techniques to whiten it as it may damage the product.

6. What is gold plated silver?

Answer: 22k gold polish is applied to silver jewellery to give it a gold appearance

7. Will the metal get damaged over the years?

Answer: No, the metal itself will not be damaged, but the gold plating may wear off if the jewellery is not taken care of properly. To protect your jewellery, avoid exposing it to any chemicals, including makeup and perfumes. We always recommend wearing your jewellery after you have put your makeup/perfume and after use, we recommend storing it in a separate plastic pouch provided by us.

8. What kinds of gemstones do you use in your jewellery?

Answer: We mostly use semi-precious stones in our jewellery.
